Vahid Safarifard received his B. Sc. Degree in applied chemistry from Bu-Ali Sina University in 2009 and his M. Sc. and Ph. D. degrees in inorganic chemistry from Tarbiat Modares University, Tehran, Iran, under the supervision of Prof. Ali Morsali, in 2011 and 2015, with a sabbatical research in the Supramolecular NanoChemistry & Materials Group at Catalan Institute of Nanoscience an Nanotechnology, Barcelona, Spain. He joined as an assistant professor at Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, in 2017 where he is still working. His research interest mainly focuses on synthesis of new functionalized metal-organic frameworks and application of MOFs in chemical sensing, catalysis and adsorption removal of hazardous materials
